Abstract:
We present Charge Division measurement results using a 2 meter long CDC prototype at Carnegie Mellon to carry out z-position tracking in GlueX. Our estimated resolution is around $2.5\%$, which should improve further with better noise insulation. The calibration curves we obtain here will be used further on for z-position tracking using cosmic ray data with the same setup.
