ONLINE MONITORING START OF RUN CHECKLIST

This is a checklist of things to verify prior to the start of a new run period. It includes only items related to the online monitoring systems, data storage in the counting house, and data transport outside of the counting house. It does not include DAQ, Trigger, or Control systems.

front (web) to back (DAQ) order:

1. set new run as default (~1 week before run)

1. spool up daily monitoring email
   • test with old data

2. ensure all version lists are up to date

3. add new run number
   • add raw data version
   • add incoming data version

   ensure cron jobs are functional

   • tuples are seen
   • post processing runs and plots are placed in the right location

4. check that root files are properly closed (may not really be possible)
