One Week Pause in Running

  • Goal: Reinstall tagger detectors/electronics and check data.
  • Expected Schedule: See start dates in the run coordination meeting pages here and the general schedule here: Duration of the pause: 6 days, depends on the accelerator program to be carried out meanwhile
  • Responsibility: Hall D
  • Priority: High
  • Conditions:
  1. No beam, Tagger hall and Hall D are open.
  • Acivities
  1. Reinstall the tagger "microscope" (TAGM) and the electronics, reconnect the cables.
  2. Remove upstream collimator.
  3. Analyze the data taken so far and identify possible problems.
  4. Use this downtime to fix the identified hardware issues.
  5. Using reconstructed tracks find the location of the beam spot
