Contents
Set up harp scan
- Ask MCC to stop beam delivery in preparation for harp scans and to turn off tagger quadrupole (MQPAD00)
- Remove all radiators
- Move collimator to blocking position
Perform accelerator harp scans (quad off)
- Ask MCC for three harp scans: 5C11, 5C11B, and tagger dump (AD00)
- Remind MCC that all three should be done with tune beam
Perform radiator harp scan (quad off)
- Ask for 100 nA CW beam
- Perform radiator harp scan as described in this wiki page
Perform accelerator harp scans (quad on)
- Ask MCC to turn tagger quadrupole (MQPAD00) back on with current of -4.2A
- Ask MCC for three harp scans: 5C11, 5C11B, and tagger dump (AD00)
- Remind MCC that all three should be done with tune beam
Perform radiator harp scan (quad on)
- Ask for 100 nA CW beam
- Perform radiator harp scan as described in this wiki page
Restore Production conditions
- Ask MCC to take beam away and mask FSD for radiator movement
- Insert desired radiator (diamond or 3x10^-4 RL amorphous)
- Move collimator to 5.0 mm diameter hole (can be done in parallel with previous step)
- Ask for the appropriate current CW beam to be restored
- Refer to this wiki page for standard production conditions
