this is my comment --zihlmann (talk) 11:33, 3 February 2022 (EST) today we decided that
- Gabriel with some students will review and test the gen_amp documentation in MC generators
- Beni will review the top level links to documentation for their content.--zihlmann (talk) 11:36, 3 February 2022 (EST)
- Beni:--zihlmann (talk) 08:58, 15 February 2022 (EST)
- the purpose of this page: provide bread crumbs that can be followed to find all information that one might need/want. A lot of the crumbs are already on our wiki just not in a way that they can be followed to reach the goal.
- Raw Data, add link to CODA DAQ and additional link to EVIO in that CODA page. Also started wiki page on halld_recon git hub.
- documentation on halld_recon is now started but is very thin.
- hd_root needs dedicated wiki page on how to use it (should include hd_anal)
- documentation about halld_sim is non existent. Natural place to do that would be the wiki page on git_hub
- documentation on MC hdgeant4 non existant, mcsmear non existent, geometry very weak.
- line item on detector geometry needed
- genr8 and bggen require how-to-use wiki page
- need a more detailed outline of what MCwrapper is and what it is used for
- Note: github interprets README files.
Adding PyPWA for General Analysis
I am commenting on behalf of Dr. Salgado about PyPWA. Would it be possible to add PyPWA under AmpTools, under analysis tools, for this wiki page? It is a Python-based Partial Wave Analysis toolkit available through Anaconda and usable through Jupyter that Dr. Salgado and I have been working on.
Both Dr. Saglado and I are available to be emailed about further details of the package, and I am available to help with improving the documentation if need be.
- The code is available here
- Documentation available here
- The official JLab site for the package is here
