Contents
Set up harp scan
- Ask MCC to stop beam delivery in preparation for harp scans
- Remove all radiators (BLANK or RETRACTED)
- Move collimator to blocking position
Perform accelerator harp scans
- Ask MCC for three harp scans: 5C11, 5C11B, and tagger dump (AD00)
- Remind MCC that all three should be done with tune beam
Perform radiator harp scan
- Ask for 200 nA CW beam
- Perform radiator harp scan as described in this wiki page
Restore Production conditions
- Ask MCC to take beam away and mask FSD for radiator movement
- Insert desired radiator (e.g., diamond or 3x10^-4 RL amorphous)
- Amorphous radiator retracted
- Move collimator to 5.0 mm diameter hole (can be done in parallel with previous steps)
- Ask for the appropriate current CW beam to be restored
- Refer to this wiki page for standard production conditions
