Minutes
Attending: Alex, Ilya, Mark Rory, Elton, Serguei
Tentative Agenda
- Announcements
- We have requested a Readiness Review for CPP/NPP, but have not heard back
- Action Items
- Theory Update
- Calculations by Sergey Gevorkyan
- Serguei was connected to a second screen in Ilya's office.
- Comments to Serguei: Rory: relies heavily on Physics Rev C for PrimeX. Elton will send the paper around. Elton: There are several definitions that need clarifications. For the paper we probably want specific calculations with plots to make the paper more useful.
- Rory: Suggests that we spend the next meeting reviewing the paper and organizing questions for Serguei.
- Make available code for calculation of the FF (Ilya)
- The code has been made available on Ilya's web site.
- There are various options for FF (Fermi, Fourier-Bessel, Sum of Gaussians). Rory: The state-of-the-art is the Fourier-Bessel parameterization and should be used as the reference.
- Backgrounds
- Mark: the BGGEN jobs are failing at a 25-40% rate and it is unclear why. He will send a question into the GlueX help
- CPP and NPP Readiness Review
- GlueX-II and DIRC ERR (Example)
- Trigger
- Other business
- Next meeting
- Dec 18 11:00 am. Review Serguei's paper and provide feedback
