- Announcements:none
- Discuss the Run Coordination meetings and the continuation of this meeting.
- It was discussed and decided to move to Run Coordination meetings. Alex and Justin will coordinate these.
- Action Items
- Tim walked us through the updates on the GANTT chart. The final front closure of the dark room will stay on schedule (Dec 2).
- Detector
- Malte updated the status of the lead glass (LGD) of FCAL2. All pre-checks have been done and now we are ready to move to full detector tests. DB is updated. Concern: temperature in the dark room while medlar is the front flap. Some CAN base replacements are needed. A DATA TAKING _ DO NOT DISTURB sign will be be posted outside the dark room.
- The one FCAL crate is still problematic and all diagnostics tried have not revealed the issue. Scalers rates are large. Things look ok on the scope. A miscalibration of the baselines could be a reason.
- New voltage snap file made. Patterns show which LEDs file in rows and columns, and more checks will be done.
- Cosmics counters are installed. Their trigger logic coincidence has (OR of the TOP counters) AND (OR of the BOT counters). Threshold is conservative at 200 mV for 1400 V. Total count is $2k/day.
- Mechanical
- The dark room interlock was discussed again, ad the point was made that the interlock system protocol should be followed: if needed, the interlock can be bypassed but thresholds connected to the interlock should not be arbitrarily modified.
- New ventilation (see Action Item above) has been installed and will satisfy OSHA requirements on CO2 (5 cu.ft/min). A drip pan is part of this condenser system.
- Electrical
- Electronics/DAQ
- Any other business: his is the last special FCAL2 meeting. All detector subsystems will be discussed in the Run Door
