Notes
- Target volume of 0.4 l of liquid hydrogen expands to about 1000 l at STP.
- Hall B pumps on scattering chamber with turbo pump all the time.
- Jim added Lakeshore Cernox temperature sensors at various heights.
- Chris requested that they be removable, to replace defective ones.
- Chris recommends the Lakeshore Model 218 8-channel temperature monitor read-out unit.
- System should be able to liquefy helium-4, taking it down to 3 K.
- Jim will look into adding a relief tube to by-pass normal feed in case of boil off of target liquid.
