Minutes
We did not have a meeting but shared updates by email.
Cody:
The new firmware(250 modes) has been deployed to the hall. Beni ran the new modes, but I'm not sure to what extent. I think the errors mentioned are related to hardware and I would like to swap those modules, when convenient.
We received the bareboard PCBs from the new spares procurement for inspection. They look great and are well documented. We expect first article assemblies next month.
The firmware with the new timing algorithm is setup on a card in the test stand, but there's not much else to report. I need to write some software using the playback function to load waveforms for live testing/development.
Lubomir:
Beni is out this week. I'm running his DAQ and trying to test the new
firmware. Over the weekend gluon51 and gluon52 crashed several times,
today I switched to gluon49 and so far it is stable, however I have three
modules:
ROCCDC3 slot 16
ROCFDC9 slot 14
ROCFDC5 slot 13
that are giving me timeout errors. I don't know if this is related to the
new firmware. So far I'm using mode 1 (data type 4) only. Will try the
other modes later in the week if the DAQ is working.
Beni:
Yes indeed I checked the firmware and I think it works. The problems we have now is the actual hardware of
some of the modules that do not respond properly.
