People were unavailable so we postponed. Here is an e-mail I sent summarizing some things:
Hi Rory,
I was online for a while this morning at 9:00am but nobody connected for the meeting. Elton had a doctor's appointment so he couldn't make it either. Did I get the time/date wrong?
I can summarize what I think the main topics are:
1. Sept. workshop:
- Elton says things are in motion on the JLab end for the seminar and travel
- I have booked L102 for the afternoon of Fri. Sept. 27. You originally suggested
Thursday the 26th, but Liping expressed interest and said Friday would be
better. We should finalize the date if it hasn't been yet.
2. GEANT4 simulation:
- Richard Jones said this week that he "plans to have an initial release by the
collaboration meeting". This means it will likely not be available before then
(early Oct.) and there will be some testing period after that.
3. I ran into Mac the other day and invited him to come to our workshop. He seemed
like he might have an interest in helping with the chambers. You could follow
up with him and it would probably at least get him to the workshop.
4. Elton mentioned something about Ali coming here for the workshop, but I'm
blanking on what he said (paperwork is all in maybe?)
I'm not around tomorrow (Friday) but will be here next week. We can meet at 9:00am
on Thursday at our regular time or arrange to meet earlier if you'd like.
