  1. Previous CPP meeting: Nov 24, 2021
  2. Announcements
    • Current experimental run is being extended, but details are still uncertain
    • Next Tuesday Dec 7 at 3:00 pm we will have a meeting with Richard to coordinate the moving of the microscope in early Jan.

    • Andrew is still getting some errors in generating pion pairs. He and Elton will meet this afternoon at 4 to resolve the problem.

    • Nikhil is working on quantifying of the uncertainties.

  6. CPP and NPP Readiness Review
    • Report on MWPC Testing (Elton)
    • Rory has provided some comments to the text, which have been incorporated.
    • The conclusion paragraph was reviewed and edited to reduce emphasis on size of electronic noise.
    • Elton will complete changes and provide the report to the ERR committee.
  7. MWPC Testing
    • FMWPC Log Book
    • Beni: Would like to replace the problematic FADC-250 (scintillators) in order to evaluate the potential time (i.e. position) resolution of the scintillators that can be obtained with the flash. He is investigating the option for spares. Elton: The chambers will still be available in Jan and it should be easier to find a FADC-250.
