Agenda

  1. Announcements
  2. Transition to GEANT4
  3. Physics Analyses: Overview
    1. Hyperon Channels (Kei)
    2. γp→π+π-π+(n), strange-meson channels (Justin, Paul)
    3. Pion Polarizability (David, Rory)

Notes from the Meeting

  • Please submit slides and proceedings to the physics working group ahead of the conference deadlines.
  • Richard Jones is working on the GEANT4 transition. A first release will be available by the Fall collaboration meeting for people to test.
  • The next data challenge is planned for the Fall. The list of information to be included needs to be worked out in the coming weeks. GEANT4 may be an option for the data challenge depending on how things progress.
  • The "pion polarizability sub-group" is working on the design (and its implementation in GEANT) of the muon detector downstream. GEANT4 may again be an option for simulations in the near future. A meeting of the group at JLab is scheduled for September 26.
