Agenda

  1. Announcements
  2. Fall Offline Data Challenge: Previous Data Challenge Report
  3. Physics Analyses: Overview
    1. Hyperon Channels (Kei)
    2. γp→π+π-π+(n), strange-meson channels (Justin, Paul)
    3. Pion Polarizability (David, Rory)

Notes from the Meeting

  • The Offline Group is collecting ideas for The Next Data Challenge. GEANT4 is an option depending on availability.
  • Kei Moriya discussed his progress on the vertex studies (secondary vertices) for the hyperon channels. The kinematic fitter works well for the charged Σs and the Λ.
  • There will be a π Polarizability workshop at JLab on September 27th.
