The meeting will be booked in VRVS for Friday 19 Oct, from 10am to 12am (EST).
News from Ken Livingston
The diamonds [promised by Element 6] are supposed to arrive within the next 2 days. Here's the description I've beeen given on the phone:
- 2 x Type 1b Natural, yellowish colour
- 2 x Type 3a Synthetic cvd, cubic (probably means square)
- 2 x Type 2a Synthetic hpht, octahedral, bright white
- 2 x Type 2a Natural, large, irregular brownish.
Yang will ask a Glasgow technician to make some mounts for them. These diamonds need to go back to Element 6 fairly soon, or they'll invoice us for them. I said we'd discuss what we want to keep and what to return after the beamtime.
