Normal code: q = a_scale * gains[ring-1][straw-1] * (integral - scaled_ped*nsamples_integral) Amp-dedx code: q = a_scale * gains[ring-1][straw-1] * (maxamp - scaled_ped)* 28.8
(The scaling factor 28.8 was already known from matching the amplitude & charge landau MPVs for gain calibrations)
