The plan
- Load up at CMU
- Ideally, store truck indoors overnight
- Drive to JLab
- Arrival before ?pm - go to EEL to unload
- Arrival after ? pm - go to Hall D, drive in, CDC in truck overnight, drive to EEL the next day and unload
Preparations:
- Add reinforcements to CDC cart for forklift
- Order materials for reinforcements
- Calculate position of CDC's CM
- Order swivel wheels
- Swap straight wheels for swivel wheels
- Rent a truck
- Need to measure temp near CDC - buy long thermocouple?
- Find somewhere to keep truck indoors overnight at CMU
- Negotiate loading bay access
- Check packing list, bring up to date
- Book accommodation at resfac
At JLab
- CDC is to be stored in EEL 126? until FDC installation is complete
- HV blocks need to be added
- CDC mini-readout in EEL can be set up once FDC has moved into Hall D
- Expect CDC installation to be in Jan 2014? (from engineering schedule)
Equipment for readout
