Overall a very nice paper! Thanks for taking the time to put it together. My comments are mostly a few typos....

  1. Section 2, line 2: Russian made should be ``Russian-mad
  2. Section 3.2, "complex mathematical" should just be "mathematical", complex implies a class of numbers.

Page3, bottom of the right-hand column: The sentence ``By changing the length of the open end one can control the delay between two pulses and explore the sen- sitivity of the timing resolution to the relative alignment of the samples with the structure of the second pulse. needs som commas in it. I would suggest: ``By changing the length of the open end, one can control the delay between two pulses, and explore the sensitivity of the timing resolution to the relative alignment of the samples with the structure of the second pulse.
  4. You might want to consider developing a bit beefier reference section.
