Minutes == Tentative Agenda

Attending: Fernando, Carl, Elton, Eugene, Chuck, John, Beni (JLab); Zisis, George (UofR); Will, Alam (USM).

  1. Announcements
  2. Review of Action Items
    • Communication with Plastic Craft has not been very good and the light guide order has not been placed.
  3. Results of tests of SiPMs
    1. Electronic certification (Fernando)
      • Fernando has completed the electronic certification of both Hamamatsu and SensL. Hamamatsu devices have met all our specifications. SensL package quality is very good and accompanied by quality documentation. However, the pulse lengths are about 200 ns long, exceeding our requirements.
      • Fernando has posted GlueX-docs summarizing the tests.
    2. Detector performance (Carl, see presentation posted)
      • Hamamatsu devices have been characterized for uniformity, dark current and PDE, achieving expected results in all areas.
  4. USM report
  5. Light Guide Geometry
  6. Light Guide Simulations
  7. Discussions on MOU with USM
