  1. FDC Update
    1. Package 1: completely ready for testing; ground, cooling and HV wiring ready.
    2. Package 2: working on all missing cathodes; will install half of it before Christmas
    3. Package 3: has been tested; estimate ~230 micron resolution from the timing from the wires
    4. Package 4: has been completely assembled and tested with a source; we found and fixed a broken wire.
  2. CDC Update
    1. The neoprene U-channel holding the G10 upstream gas plenum wall had shown some cracks previously, this was sealed with epoxy DP-190.
    2. Air flow rates in and out of the CDC were compared after a sudden decrease in bubbling. All of the bushings were tightened and exit flow increased to 60% of entrance flow.
    3. We put a mix of 90% argon and 10% ethane through the chamber and used flammable gas detectors to identify leak points. One of the 3522 hookup wires was missing its O-ring and there were also some leaks at the temporary plenum boundaries. After remedying these, loss of flow through the chamber could not be measured on the flow rate meters, and the gas detectors were not sensitive enough to detect any further leaks.
    4. Naomi has some more encouraging prototype signal integration results CDC_tilted_detectors and found a possible explanation for the drift time histogram spikes - noise from the scintillator electronics CDC_time_spikes.
