Dave Heddle gave an overview of the status of the Event Display package he has been developing for CLAS12. The framework is JAVA-based and incorporates ideas learned from the highly successful CLAS event display ''ced'' written by Dave several years ago. The New viewer framework will have some 3D ability, but focusses more on the 2D aspects for their superior diagnostic ability. For more details on the carefully thought out design features built into the new framework, see the slides. CLAS12 is not currently using the event display as development of the simulation/reconstruction has been somewhat slow due to limited manpower.

The CLAS12 Event Viewer

Dave Heddle gave an overview of the status of the Event Display package he has been developing for CLAS12. The framework is JAVA-based and incorporates ideas learned from the highly successful CLAS event display ced written by Dave several years ago.
