Images of the setup for measuring the spectra of scintillating fibres using an Ocean Optics fibre optic spectrometer, a UV (380nm) LED and some clamps.
The spectra of BCF-60, BCF-20 and BCF-12 from distances of 15cm (maximum amplitude) up to 190cm (minimum amplitude). There are little or no jumps or overlaps indicating good transmission and the fibres were clean.
