  • Meeting time: consensus was to move the meeting to every other Tuesday at 10:30 am
  • Naomi gave an update on correcting the CDC dEdx for theta dependence. She has succeeded in getting rid of the narrow bands seen in her previous report.
  • S.T. reported on updates to PIDFOM to include hit-count dependence on sigma(dE/dx) and to include dE/dx in the TOF for proton ID.
  • Mahmoud compared timing in the BCAL and FCAL between MC and real data.
    • He sees some clear dependence on momentum in the BCAL timing distributions.
      • In principle can improve calibrations, but need to look at channels with kaons to see if this is worth the effort.
    • The FCAL timing resolution appears to be better (in the core) in the data than in the MC, but here is an asymmetric tail in the data, so may need to increase default timing cut.
