Notes from Conversation between Werner and Mark
Prototype Tests
FIU has received five scintillators from Plastic Craft. These are cut and bent to a functional shape for the start counter. They have not been tested yet.
Initially they will be tested with the 6 mm x 10 mm x 1.4 m light guide that Werner used in previous tests. A fine-mesh tube will be used. Lei is also working on making a light guide from the fibers received from Saint Gobain.
The large dark box to enclose the prototype is almost done.
SiPM's
We have not succeeded in getting newer configurations of SiPM's for Werner to test. We need to meet with Fernando to discuss options.
MOU
A draft with changes from Glenn was sent to Allison on Tuesday. She returned a marked up draft soon after. Mark will incorporate her changes and answer questions. If that version looks OK, then it is off the the Concurrence Chain.
