  • SICCAS update: crystals have not shipped yet, a phone conference is planned for Monday evening
    • new PR under discussion, idea to add Wuhan as subcontractor to take care of QA, but crystal specs would remain the same.
      • would need DOE approval -- could take several months...
    • We have arranged with CUA to start with existing Hall C crystals and do a trade later
      • Caveat: NPS is planning assembly in the fall, and will need more than 200 SICCAS crystals
  • Box of ESR material arrived -- now have whole set
  • Brass flanges are on order
  • 400 PMTs have arrived
  • Light guide material: no specs for Chinese vendor, go with Eljen as alternate vendor?
    • Studies with 18.8 mm vs 18 mm material hampered by fact that the materials are not exactly the same; nevertheless we will stick with the 18 mm standard size.
  • Working on loan agreement with UNCW so they can do studies with PMTS/dividers.
  • Safety documentation for clean room area has been submitted, iterating with safety officers.
  • mu-metal cylinders: PR was submitted, procurement dept. found a cheaper vendor, but will probably go with first vendor
  • 400 PMTs have arrived
  • Modified dividers for testing with COMCAL: waiting for parts. Windows of opportunity for installation during beam studies/maintenance days (usually Tuesdays).
  • Light Monitoring system: use plexiglas sheets a la FCAL or individual light distribution?
    • Plan to do some studies with the plexiglas idea: light uniformity,...
