Reworked mu-metal shields have not shipped yet
New light guides not shipped yet
- Pending arrival of these (and assuming they pass our checks), we have enough material to assemble ~10 complete modules (already have 2, look good)
Test setup in hall (on pair spectrometer arm) ready for beam
Work continues on PMT base redesign, goal to have ~2 ready for beam
Igal is working on η→π0γγ simulation -- not using standard DSelector for analysis due to too many combinations
- Choose "best" combination? What to do with multiple "good" combinations?
- FCAL shower quality cut effective for cutting hadronic spitoffs -- repeat ML training for insert?
Island algorithm: implemented for CCAL, S.T. will look at incorporating it for FCAL/FCAL-II
Liping asked for feedback on review article on "Precision tests of fundamental physics with η and η′ mesons" [1].
