  • COMCAL fabrication is continuing
  • COMCAL article: received positive response from reviewers but need to work on revisions
  • 2 UNCW students ready to come to the lab
    • Work on module construction
    • Igal presented 2 software projects for them to work on as well
      • Background suppression for η→π0γγ and η→e+e-γγ using TMVA
      • Multivariate analysis: boosted decision tree, multi-layer perceptron, convolutional neural network, ...
  • U. Regina ready to start PMT/divider test pending update from Fernando on divider design (version by end of summer?)
  • 3D-printing using offsite facilities: LED holders, divider housing
    • Sasha will ask Josh C. to make sketches
  • Azizah and Jon working on 2-photon particle gun for studying shower separation
  • Discussed importance of understanding 2π0 background for η→π0γγ
    • Need to improve shape of mass distribution in simulation so that it agrees more closely to data and normalization to data
