- Zisis introduced a new student, Azizah, who will be working on machine learning
- Phil mentioned potential student participation through the SULI program next summer (hopefully the covid situation will be better next year..)
- Sasha continues his studies of new crystals using the PS setup in hall D
- Latest plots are for CRYTUR crystals, which have slightly lower amplitudes than the SICCAS crystals but generally better resolution.
- Plan to use 64 CRYTUR crystals in ring around beam hole due to better radiation hardness compared to SICCAS crystals
- Plan is to send the 2 worst-performing SICCAS crystals back to China and to provide other feedback to Shanghai company
- Plan to continue taking advantage of the beam time to test as many crystals as possible, but in the future likely test a subset of preselected crystals
