- The techs are part way through installing layer 22, the second layer of the last group of stereo tubes.
- They measured the tension of the first 4 rows of wires in place (192 out of the 438 strung so far), it was within spec on all but one wire which will be replaced during the next stringing session. Presumably that wire which must snapped inside the lower crimp pin, or not have been crimped successfully, as it had passed the continuity test but all the wire was still attached to the upper crimp pin and none was visible inside the lower pin.
