    1. 'First Article':
      1. FCAL design is near final. Plan is to order one of the Plexiglas panes (1/4 of the full) to Athens and do the final R&D testing on where to mount LEDs, how many, how to hold them in place (glue, clips), etc. This work will be done in Athens. Final solution and initial assembly will be done in Athens, Plexiglas bought by JLab, assembly on bench for each of the quadrants and then quick screw on to FCAL frame in the hall (ie minimize work at JLab).
      2. BCAL design. Elton will discuss how to proceed with Eugene and give feedback to Zisis who has volunteered to pull all relevant info together on the Athens LPM+LPCM+short fibre solution. The first article at JLab will include instrumenting a full module, with 80 SiPMs and all assemblies (light guides, cabling, hook up to electronics). Question: is the 15 light guide system (based on request to Chile) adequate to be considered as a first article or do we need to go to the full 80 units?
    2. Wording under section 5.1.4 will include "assemble and test", business terms article 5.4 will include Plexiglas purchase by JLab. Elton will run the corrected MOU through the JLab concurrence process and Christina will start informing signatories in Athens, but will have to wait for the official clearance from JLab on the concurrence.
  2. Technical issues: cable lengths, positioning of LPCM, magnetic field sensitivity, possibility to daisy-chain LPM boards, etc. All this needs to be worked out in detail for the contract. Christina will communicate these issues to the electronics guy (Kapos) and get back to us with the responses, and if necessary will arrange for him to come to one of our video meetings.
  3. It looks like a Fixed Price Contract will be the best solution for Athens with the money sent to the Athens Team Account at CERN. Elton will double check.
  4. Elton will look into having a small contract first (few k$) to keep Athens momentum and also because it takes time to order board components and assemble them.
