    1. FCAL Update
      1. Matt reported on the hardware failures. Understanding is starting to converge. He showed the base electronics schematics and explained the effects deviation from the 180 and 165 V circuits: when the former drops it causes inefficiency in the switching of the base by drawing too much current and causing trips, while the when the latter drops the HV circuit shits down. These effects can occur there is dirt or solder under the 0.1-inch-long 10 MOhm resistors. About 100 bases (3%) have been affected. Not one base that has been treated (cleaned) has failed, although the long term behaviour is not known. The bases will be repaired as the need arises. The procedure will be documented and the cleaning/refurbishing will be done at JLab.
      2. Jon reported on his gp->omega p with the omega going to (g)pi0, and the gamma potentially missing. Delta-theta represents the difference between missing and thrown gamma. Large Delta-theta is at small E. Work is ongoing.
    2. BCAL Update
      1. George presented his update on the timing and effective velocity. He had circulated his slides to the BCAL group earlier but will post them on the Wiki or DocDB. All 768 plots are qualitatively similar to what is shown in this presentation. Parameter p2 needs to be understood better, and the azimuthal behaviour is not understood.
      2. Will M. talked about the big improvement in the BCAL clusterizer. Single g in MC data was used. Red shows the confines of the old clusterizer, magenta shows the improved version. Spherical coordinates have been used in the new model. The performance is superior now in terms of reducing the number of splitoffs. Some overlaps (merges) still remain.
      3. Ahmed is working on the far/near ratio from the pulser and productions runs. He is also continuing to look at the layer efficiency following Mike's new emulation. Results will be reported soon.
      4. Andrei is working on the t-w and too corrections. Nothing to report yet.
  5. Reconstruction and Simulation
    1. Tegan reported on a new version of further optimized cuts on his eta-prime analysis to the decay pi+pi-eta using ver3 REST data. All looks good, similar to Simon's result.
  6. Calibration: Sean is producing the new set calibration jobs which should be done by the end of the month. Matt said that the precise timing circuit of the flash behaves well and pulses look good for the FCAL. We need to digest what we have to date and examine the Eres which his not behaving like the expected 1/sqrt(E).
  7. Any other business: Curtis emphasized that effort must be poured into mcsmear over the next few months.
