Minutes and Action Items

  • Reviewed minutes of last meeting
  • Need to notch steel at bottom to clear connectors -- Stephanie
  • Look at using a 90° connector -- Rory
  • Check gas line bending to clear beam left dark room -- Rory
  • Alignment requirements relative to BL - X&Y ±2mm, Z ±1cm
    • Met with survey - need to add x,y and z adjustments for the entire system to achieve this
  • Desire to have a small block of 5cm lead movable
    • can be a local adjustment
    • Ring with 7.5cm hole
    • ok to have 10cm thick where overlap is
    • Holes to be square with radius corner
    • Hole size should have 1mm precision
    • What should be the size of the hole in the large lead absorber?
  • Need to check repeatability of detector after moving FCAL platform
  • Develop a procurement plan for this FY -- Tim
  • Set up new meeting in 2 weeks
