  1. Tracking
  2. Detector related reports
    • CDC
      • The spring 18 fix has been documented.
      • Naomi asked about planning for the CPP run, about gas supply for the drift chambers.
    • FDC
      • Lubomir started working on FDC simulations with Garfield. Due to some technical issues with the Magboltz code, the efficiency was calculated for the simplest case without magnetic field. There are concerns that the spread in the drift time may significantly affect the efficiency. Details will be discussed at the simulation meeting.
      • The latest results from the FDC gas tests show that the Oxygen in FDC2 is low enough (200-300ppm) to raise concerns and the reason for much slower removal of the Ar is most likely malfunctioning MFC. Tests will be done next week to verify that.
  3. GEM-TRD
    • UVA prepared a budget for manufacturing two prototypes with different configuration, uRwell and standard GEM. Eugene: will have money for one prototype (need to decide which) very soon, to be used in this FY.
  4. Other
    • Tim will organize a meeting to discuss the moving stages (one for calorimeter and one for GEM-TRD) for the parasitic tests at the PS this summer.
    • Keigo found a parametrization that allows to do chamber alignment using Ks, will report on the next meeting.
