Minutes

Launches

  • Reconstruction launch started on Friday and is running smoothly.
  • We will have an analysis launch following the reconstruction launch. If you have analysis plugins you want to run, you must check them into your home area on svn and notify Alex A. by next Monday.
  • Sean will work on organizing the efforts for the next simulation launch, which will try to match the new reconstruction launch.

Beamline

  • The electron beam energy will be stored in the CCDB on a run-by-run basis. We can do it on an event-by-event basis, but the variation with time is small and this is probably overkill. Richard is working on studying the EPICS data to produce beam energies for each run.

Tracking

  • Wire-by-wire FDC timing calibrations have been shown to improve the FDC hit efficiencies by ~1%. These are still be investigated, and were left out of the reconstruction launch.
  • Mike is working on a systematic method of converging on alignment constants for the drift chambers. Also, he fixed a 600 micron shift of the drift chambers that had been previously missed. This fix was included in the reconstruction launch.

Calorimeters

  • Elton will study the run dependence of the inefficient BCAL module so that it can be included in the next simulation launch.
