##* Consider usefulness of 2pi Bonn/MAINZ data on Pb to our experiment (Rory). Rory read the paper by Susan Schadmand carefully. It is a very nice paper and evaluates the photoproduction of mesons on nuclei using data from Bonn and MAINZ up to photon energies of 0.8 to 1.5 GeV. These data are dominated by nucleon resonance production in nuclei and the main interest is in the changes of resonance parameters in nuclei for both excited nucleons and the rho meson. The kinematics corresponds to incoherent scattering and is sufficiently far from our region of interest (high photon energy and very low -t production), that it will be difficult to use the data directly to investigate our backgrounds.

    • Elton proposed to make available the May 9 version of the NPP draft to the collaboration. The collaboration review period and time for a vote will put the approval beyond the June 22 submission date. However, approval will come in time for PAC deliberations and Matt has promised a letter explaining the meaning of GlueX collaboration endorsement.

      • Elton is writing a program for NC eta production. Perhaps results will be shown next week.
      • Consider usefulness of 2pi Bonn/MAINZ data on Pb to our experiment (Rory). Rory read the paper by Susan Schadmand carefully.
