  • 9:00 - 10:00 Introduction and Project Overview
    • Meson spectroscopy introduction with focus on strange final states
    • Kaon ID limitations with baseline GlueX and improvements with DIRC
    • Overview of GlueX run plan
    • Review of BaBar design and SLAC FDIRC prototype
    • General overview of design, referring to later talks for specifics
    • Evaluation of design based on John's simulation
  • 10:00 - 10:30 Focusing Box Prototype Studies
    • Overview of prototype design
    • John's test setup at Bates and mirror characterization
    • Plans for full scale box design
  • 10:30 - 10:45 Break
  • 10:45 - 11:15 Mechanical Design, Integration and Transport
    • Support structure design and integration with forward carriage
    • Reasoning for horizontal (instead of vertical) design
    • Shipping crate design and tests with accelerometers at IU on mock bar box
  • 11:15 - 12:00 Discussion
  • 12:00 - 1:30 Lunch (Executive Session)
  • 1:30 - 2:00 Photon Detection and Readout

  • October 14: External review at JLab
  • October 7: Dry runs of talks at JLab
  • September 30: Submit final TDR to external committee
  • September 23: Submit draft TDR to collaboration for review
  • September 7: Receive feedback from internal committee's review of TDR
  • August 21: Submit draft TDR to internal committee for review
  • August 14: Complete drafts of all TDR sections
  • Early July: First draft of all TDR sections
  • Early June: Complete outline of TDR sections
