==Misc. Tasks and questions==
*Look into the figue of merit of the experiment in the low energy, where the photon beam polarization is low. (To see if constructing an additional tagger is justified). (A. Deur)
+

*How do we deal, target-wise, with solenoid ramp-down? (rare but possible. Note: Once the target is polarized, we do not need to run at high field. High field may still be needed if we run with the FDC).
+
*Discuss funding options with Eugene, Chris K., Justin, Todd and Dustin
*Do we want a separate solenoid to polarize the target and perform spin flip?
+
**Join WM-UVa proposal.
**Eugene does not feel conformable going above the current operating value of the solenoid (1.8T at the nominal target position, 2T max) and pushing the field would gain only 10%
+
*Finalize polarized BH and Compton event generator. S. Širca, M. Dalton
**Target RF equipment needs to have a frequency adapted to the field. 2.5T and 5T are good values (not 2T or 1.8T).
+
**[[Email from Richard Jones (06/14/2021)]]
**It seems a better option to have a secondary magnet for polarization and spin flip.
+
*<s>Organize tests on solid targets to measure background and signal rates. J. Stevens</s> Already taken GlueX data are sufficient.
*How well can we check beam charge asymmetry with BPMs?
+
*Polarized target building. C. Keith.
*Effect of a beam position-helicity correlation on the data. (M. Dalton)
+
*Bleedthrough issue. A. Deur
*Update proposal with: (A. Deur)
+
**Accelerator reported in [https://halldweb.jlab.org/doc-private/DocDB/ShowDocument?docid=5107 May 2021 GlueX collaboration meeting] that a new system will be installed, probably for the next run (8/2021) that will eliminate bleedthrough in Hall D.
**Add to the list of authors
+
*Beam helicity reporting for Hall D. M. Dalton
**Updated theoretical justifications
+
*Once the backgrounds are simulated and understood, define trigger. Discussion with Sacha.
**MC Simulation and set-up optimization
+
*Look into having an Al. radiator of RL between 2. 10^-5, 10^-4, so that we have some beam current flexibility.
**Discussion about flipping target spin and beam 1/2 plate, see [https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/10/23/2019 these minutes]
+
*Design and build a beam hardener.
 +
*Optional Pair Spec. upgrade.
 +
*Study options for the low energy run.
 +
**Discussion with accelerator on how and when we can run at low energy
 +
**Study how the GlueX apparatus will behave with lower energy electrons (transmission, etc...)
 +
*Extend the doubly polarized experimental program.
 +
**"GDH" on nuclei (shadowing/antishadowing studies). M. Dalton, A. Deur

***eta meson.

***Polarized Compton.
