Run Coordination report for the week from 09-15/02/2023 (Igal Jaegle).

The goals of this week were the High-Intensity Tests (on the diamond radiator) & Data Production on the diamond and amorphous radiators. The accelerator efficiency was 50.3% and we lost 6.3% of beam time due to frequent DAQ stop/start whenever there is a weather alarm which can be up two per hour for a 6 hours shift. We used the extended downtime to reboot/power-cycle crates in Tagger & Experimental Halls to which we lost communication. Move test setup. And use the ramp to move in a new CCAL (mini-JEF) for a coming TAC run.

The following tasks remain:

  • Install on its platform CCAL, cabling, testing, & survey
  • Take data production

The following issues that were identified during previous weeks are not been fully addressed yet:

  • Start counter rotation indicated by the reconstruction software
  • Calibrations of AD00C BCM
