Thursday, Apr. 11 at 08:45

1. Notes from the past 24 hours
  • Continued running at 200nA on LHe Target.
  • 1.63B triggers collected.
  • MCC took away beam around 16:55 due to magnet issues, beam returned shortly after.
  • One DAQ crash in the evening around 21:00, Surgey was here at the time and corrected.
  • Drew covered the emergency replacement for the Duck Hunter shift this morning.

  • End of run period in 4 days, Monday 6AM beam off.

Friday, Apr. 12 at 08:45

1. Notes from the past 24 hours
  • Continued running at 200nA on LHe Target.
  • Accelerator experienced hardware issues and required access to replace a power supply, the beam was gone between 09:10 and 13:40.
  • 0.95B triggers collected.
2. Issues
  • At 06:00 MCC reported issue with 5th pass separator and informed shift crew to expect the beam to be off for approximately one hour. Beam returned around 07:45.

  • Rate drop on Wednesday, continuing discussion,
  • Rate monitoring.

  • Run production at 50nA, 10-4 Al LHe target. Turn on the forward drift chamber and run for two shifts, or until satisfied with statistics. Then turn off FDC and increase to 100nA beam and run for one shift.

  • End of run period in 3 days, Monday 6AM beam off.

Monday, Apr. 15 at 08:45

1. Notes from the past 72 hours
  • 1.1B events recorded.
  • Began running production at 50nA with the FDC included on Friday morning. The FDC had single channel trips from time to time which were reset manually.
  • Friday evening Sasha, Vlad, and Josh made access to exchange the crystals in the 3x3 prototype from CRYTUR to SICCAS.
  • MCC reported issues with the injector early Saturday morning, they took away the beam between 03:10 and 03:55.
  • FDC was turned off Saturday evening and at 21:30 we began to take data with 100nA beam continuing untill 10:50 Sunday.
  • Access was made on Sunday afternoon to exchange nine of the bases from ComCal to test new divider type.
  • Experienced beam interruptions between 02:00 and 05:20, most likely due in part to the weather.
  • Beam was turned off on Monday morning at 06:00AM
