Monday, April 4

  1. Accelerator Status
    1. No beam or poorly positioned beam until ~3:30am Sunday April 3
    2. Bleedthrough from Hall-A
    3. Hall A gets priority Today
  2. Hall-D/GlueX items
    1. Completed empty target run with amorphous radiator
    2. Difficulty getting consistent PARA and PERP at same location on JD70-118. Switch to JD70-119.
    3. CDC HV trips frequently. Current trip levels had inadvertently been reduced to 2uA (fixed)
    4. beam intensity fluctuations
      • Hovanes suggests regular harp scans, including two ACC harps in D beamline, MCC must do those
    5. other systems?
  3. Run Plan
    1. empty target run
    2. Satellite peak study (move beam)
    3. PS magnet current studies
    4. TRD run
    5. Microscope alignment (Alex B.)
    6. production running
  4. Offline analysis?
  5. AOB?

Sunday, April 3

  1. Accelerator Status
    1. Beam was gone until ~2am Saturday April 2
    2. Frequent RF trips, poor profile scans, poor enhancement
    3. Spotty or unacceptably poor beam from 13:00 Saturday to 3:30 Sunday (Issues with bleedthrough from other halls (?))
    4. Improved beam profile
    5. Hall A gets priority Monday
  2. Hall-D/GlueX items
    1. Completed empty target run with both PARA and PERP orientations
    2. Difficulty getting consistent PARA and PERP at same location on JD70-118. Switch to JD70-119.
    3. CDC HV trips frequently
    4. beam intensity fluctuations
    5. tagger harp scan shows sigma_x = 0.9 mm, sigma_y = 1.1 mm, possibly better focusing on collimator
      • Hovanes suggests regular harp scans, including two ACC harps in D beamline, MCC must do those
    6. Shift-takers run comments: Discussion deferred
    7. other systems?
  3. Run Plan
    1. empty target run
    2. PS magnet current studies
    3. TRD run
    4. Satellite peak study (move beam)
    5. Microscope alignment (Alex B.)
    6. production running
  4. Offline analysis?
  5. AOB?
