  1. Last 24 hours
  2. Maintenance
    • Work items in the Hall 4 hour maintenance tomorrow 8:00 - 12:00:
      • FCAL PDU (Nick)
      • DIRC HV control board diagnose and repair (Nick)
      • Replacing the testing crystal (Sasha and Vlad)
      • FCAL PMT replacement (Cris)
    • Work in the Tagger Hall:
      • Replacing TAGM control boards
  3. Report/issues:
  4. Projected Pending issues after maintenance:
    • TAGH Disc counter not functioning properly (Sasha)
  5. Run Plan
    • Hall C moller (6 hours) on Thursday. Reduced stability and current for us
    • Hall C path change (Jay;s comment/suggestion): once or twice tune beam into the hall a shift to engage the BPM. Past experience shows no issue running with 200 nA. 350 is unknown, he needs to try it to see. If beam unstable, we reduce BTA by a factor of 4/7

Monday, August 17

    • Since 20:00 Friday, we collected 8.5B triggers (~3.4B/day)
    • Beamline pump failed (8/15, 11am) 2nd time in 3 days, lost about 1 hour beam time.
    • CHL Trip (8/16, 8am) 6 hours down time.
    • Two Harp scan results: Convergence 8/16, 8/14/202
    • Sasha and Vlad took opportunistic access to replace testing crystals.

      • FCAL PDU reset (Nick)
      • TAGH Disc (Sasha) ?

Friday, August 14

  1. Last 24 hours
    • Stable-ish beam through yesterday to this morning, ~1.3 B triggers collected
    • Beamline Turbo pump controller failed, Keith came in and fixed the issue. Lost 2 hour beam time [1] [2] Pump failing
  2. Reports/Issues
    • New 45/135 coherent peak edge Perp Para
      • 45/135 new spot is close to the diamond edge, we need to pay attention to the rate.
    • Need to pay special attention to the coherent peak position
      • Amount of adjust (to the coherent peak) is increased (45/135) each time we change orientation
      • Amo to 0/90 para requires (Beni)
    • Beam drift due to lost beam lock. [3]
    • Hodoscope disc [4]
    • Missing FCAL channels due to the lost communication FCAL controller last night this morning
  3. Pending issues:
    • TagM card issue:
    • FCAL remote controller PDU reset. (No reset planned for other three PDUs)
  4. Run Plan
    • No long beam trips, no harp yesterday. Next harp scan?
    • Production
    • Hall C path change tentatively at August 24th (for three days). Question regarding beam stability and maximum current is raised to Jay, being discussed amount experts. Possible solution: tune beam two a shift to stabilize the lock; Use AD00 BCM as BPM, etc. Jay will get back to me.
    • CPP installation:
      • CPP's preference: schedule the CPP test after Aug 21.
      • Maintenance schedule to be decided.
