  1. Wednesday - Thursday morning
    • 15:40 MCC starts calibrating our ion chambers
    • ion chambers were calibrated for all for radiator positions, followed by harp scans
    • 18:14 requesting beam for physics
    • 19:17 developing TOF HV trouble; eventually Nick had to be called; he came in and replaced a card
    • there seems to have been a new CODA update been committed to the DAQ; DAQ started out not working; Sashsa fixed it.
    • ...
  2. Issues:
    • some rcdb error during run starts
    • comments typed during run start don't make it into the record
    • 6:30 am text message to RSC phone; can we stop that

  1. Took another harp scan: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3638436
  2. Sasha changed the transceiver on a board in rocfcal10.
  3. With a 8.9 GeV beam, the field in the tagger quad should be reduced from -4.2A to -3.1A. (R.Jones)
  4. run plan calls for LH2 at 5% higher temp. C. Keith says the temperature can be raised without too much difficulty. He'll leave instructions with os on Friday.
  5. AD00C x position. see log entry https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3638581 and MCC's entry https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3638585
  6. Sasha called Sean to express concern about multiple peaks in the timing histograms of the FCAL and tagger. Sasha plans to take some runs tomorrow morning to test the trigger. Sean will take a look tomorrow as well.
  7. Weekend plan (current):
    • finish empty target at 100 nA on 1e-4 radiator
    • ~ 9:am set up for TAC run: empty target, 2e-5 radiator, 2 nA beam; take ~ 8h ABU
    • Compton: LH2 target, 30 nA, 1e-4 radiator; take ~ 8h ABU
    • Target density monitoring: raise LH2 target T by 5%, 100 nA, 1e-4 radiator; take ~ 8h ABU
    • another TAC run: 2 nA, 2e-5 radiator, target still at +5%????
    • CompCal as TAC 2 nA, 2e-5 radiator, empty target
