Thursday, February 23

1. Accelerator Status over the last 24 hrs
   • Beam was mostly
     • Stable until midnight
   • Harp scans:
     • Beam was re-focused around noon ELOG
     • final MCC scans : IHA5C11, IHA5C11B
     • Radiator HARP scans: Radiator Harp
       • (Sigma_X, Sigma_Y) is (0.85,0.55), (0.65, 0.49), and (0.73, 0.43).
     • new Harp scans as part of beam steering problem: MCC, Radiator Harp

1. Hall-D/GlueX items
   • • Downtime incidents of more than 30 minutes:
       • DAQ 10:45 for about 40 min. , Sergey helped
       • Beam position lock on active collimator steered the beam away: 00:15
       • Traced problem to pre-amp problem in inner AC (dead or needs to be reset, power cycled ?)
       • Total triggers collected: 1400 M
2. Issues
   • Active collimator
   • DAQ issues:
     • difficult restart at 10:45pm

     • Downtime incidents of more than 30 minutes:
   • Harp scans:
     • • (Sigma_X, Sigma_Y) is (0.85,0.55), (0.93, 0.55), and (0.64, 0.46).

   • Active Collimator repair
     • Rebooting IOC did not help
     • Alex Barnes and Trent Allison found problem to be low voltage power supply, repair completed 11:55am.
