Beni ramped up the solenoid on Aug. 1st. However, due to a problem with the PXI readout, it was ramped down. The solenoid was ramp-up again (Aug. 2nd) to its nominal 1350A, this time without problem.
Target was cooled (C. Keith) and latter filled without problem (Aug. 1st)
Shift Started on Aug. 1st, 8am.

August 1st-2nd : investigating and attempting to fix a problem with the front-end of the TagM. Did two long accesses to tagger, but the problem remains.

CW beam arrived around 3am on Aug. 2nd, followed by beam quality checks.
- Radiation levels are good.
- Beam convergence is good
- Beam position optimized (?), however transmission doesn't appear to be optimal
- trigger checked out
