  • Discuss grounding scheme

Action Items/Decisions from Previous Meeting

  • Endplates and aluminum feedthrus awarded -
    • less expensive than originally anticipated due to opening up of tolerances
  • Checked IDEAL tool and manufacturing in Chicago.
    • no longer in business
  • Tim to discuss with vendor repair of end plates if hole messed up
    • less expensive than originally anticipated due to opening up of tolerances
  • Carnegie Mellon to use GARFIELD to check electric field around crimp pin insert
    • Increased length of pin insert to match distance from wire to straw
  • CMU to look over to see if piece tolerances can be loosened to ± .001 in
    • less expensive than originally anticipated due to opening up of tolerances
  • OK if we open end plate to .005 tolerance on hole positions, need to reduce straw diameter to prevent interferences
    • Complete, new straw inside diameter 0.611 inches
  • Conductive rubber tubes cover 30% of gas holes - ok, added additional hole
