Commissioning Goals
- Integrate DIRC readout with general Hall D DAQ and online/offline monitoring
- Calibrate per-pixel timing offset of MAPMTs using LED system
- Determine geometric alignment parameters (position and angle offsets) for optical components
- Implement reconstruction algorithm and compare data/MC: # detected photons, Cherenkov angle resolution

Simulation studies for commissioning
Requirements
- Final geometry in CCDB with appropriate run number
- Define JANA calibration variation for CCDB specific to DIRC(?)
- LUT algorithm implemented as factor in DIRC sim-recon library
Data Samples
- bggen sample (1M events) for comparison of rates and occupancies with data
- single track pion and kaon samples in kinematic bins for comparison with data
