Straight-track data
- For alignment of the GEM/TRD we need to acquire production samples with the magnetic field off
- Straight-track sample at the beam-center TRD positions with the full GEM readout for tracking and alignment studies
- Standard GlueX no-field measurements with 50nA on 10^-4 amorphous radiator
- 2 hours: focused FCAL trigger in GEM location to verify TRD/GEM signals (raw mode)
- 8 hours: standard FCAL-BCAL trigger for alignment data
Full GEM readout: tracking mode
- With the aligned GEM/TRD collect data for track extrapolation validation and multi-plane tracking directly upstream of DIRC
- Full solenoid field sample at the beam-center TRD positions with the full GEM readout for tracking and alignment studies
- Standard GlueX running conditions at 150nA, 250 nA and 350nA
- 2 hours: focused FCAL trigger in GEM location to verify TRD/GEM signals (raw mode)
- 8 hours: standard FCAL-BCAL trigger for alignment data at 150 nA (low energy TAGH turned on)
- 4 hours: standard FCAL-BCAL trigger for alignment data at 250 nA (low energy TAGH turned off)
- 4 hours: standard FCAL-BCAL trigger for alignment data at 350 nA (low energy TAGH turned off)
Full GEM readout: TRD mode
- For TRD pion rejection performance acquire production samples with the TRD in "cluster counting" mode with all the GEM packages read out.
- Operate TRDs with two different gasses using raw mode (Lubomir and Sergey required)
- 4 hours: standard FCAL-BCAL trigger
