HV SCAN OF TOF PMTS

  • Beam conditions: 180nA e-beam on 3.10^4 Al radiator
  • start with 1150V for all PMTs
  • take data at each HV settings for about 20 files
  • HV steps: +/- 25V:
    • HV = 1150, 1175, 1200, 1225, 1250, 1275, 1300 and new 1325, 1350
    • HV = 1125, 1100, 1075, and new: 1050, 1025

After the scan return to nominal running conditions as follows:

On the TOF HV screen click save/restore. This opens a small window. Click restore HV parameter setpoints. This opens a larger window. Check that the file at the top of the list is selected, this ends with 1_Dec_2019_ALL1150V.snap Click Restore.

  • Beam conditions: 150nA e-beam on 3.10^4 Al radiator: the rates in all PMts should be well below 1MHz.
  • start with 1150V for all PMTs
    • HV = 1150, 1100, 1050, 1200, 1250, 1300, 1350, 1400
  • take data at each HV settings for about 30 minutes
