Minutes

  1. Tracking
    • Naomi found large discrepancies between 0 and 90 beam polarizations for phi sdme rho111 with a tight cut on kinematic fit chi squared < 1 - the absolute values have magnitude > 0.1 from -t= 0.1 to 0.75, this could be a useful diagnostic (as they should be 0). Will talk to Alex & Mark offline.
  2. Detector related reports
    • FA125
      • Cody has some new firmware ready for testing, with a modification to fix the trigger number inconsistency, and would like to use the DAQ to test it. Beni pointed out the DAQ will need some work as all the network cards have been replaced. When Sergey is back from vacation and the DAQ is up and running, we should take data with the full CDC running, with one or more crates with the new version and the rest with the old.
    • FDC
    • Keigo reported package-by-package FDC alignment results using MilleKs. Linear constraint equations are constructed from wire angles and wire offsets parameters. The results are small and it seems that we are still in the local minimum. In this study, parameters for cathodes are ignored when constructing the constraints. Combining these parameters may be worth a shot to escape from the local minimum.
