Abstract:

Currently, we are considering two possible central tracking detectors for the HALL D detector at Jefferson Lab. A roughly 2m long STRAW TUBE chamber, and a similar length TPC. In this study, we have used the MCFAST Monte Carlo program to make several comparisons between these two chambers.
